Dear Ropes,

Welcome Ropes to the new Rho Pi Phi International Pharmaceutical Fraternity Web site! The idea for this Web site was started in a meeting in Chicago in June 2001. Many Rho Pi Phi alumni and student members from all over the U.S. and Canada came together to make sure that starting from this point, Rho Pi Phi can grow and recruit quality members to its active alumni and student chapters. We rededicated ourselves with the goals of making Rho Pi Phi International Pharmaceutical Fraternity work for its active chapters and members, rebuilding both the communication and financial foundation of the fraternity, and hopefully returning Rho Pi Phi to national prominence in the profession of pharmacy. Since then, more and more Ropes have been joining the cause to keep the ball rolling. At the Conclave hosted by Beta Chapter at Albany College of Pharmacy in Albany, N.Y., on Oct. 20, 2001, student chapters joined together to exchange ideas and share their experiences. At the National Convention hosted by Maimonides Alumni Chapter in Buffalo, N.Y. on July 13, 2002, a new Supreme Council was elected. You can meet these members while browsing this Web site. Let me be the first to thank past Supreme Councillors Ed Cohen and Bob Heyman for the leadership they have provided for the last couple of years. They played instrumental roles in getting the fraternity to this point of growth. I would also like to thank the current Supreme Council for their help and guidance. And to all the fraters who attended the Chicago meeting, Conclave and National Convention (the list is long), I thank you for all your dedication.

The goal of this Web site is to reopen the lines of communication between Ropes of all generations. I urge you that if this is the first time you are visiting this site and are a Rho Pi Phi member, please register for full access to this site. This will provide the Supreme Council with current information to contact you regarding upcoming events. The database is searchable so you can also get in touch with other Ropes that you may not have seen or talked to in a long time.
